They are looking for a highly motivated Engineering student to join their team as a Sustainability Engineering Co-op, where the student will work closely with the Director of Regulatory Business Development to identify and communicate sustainability opportunities.

Responsibilities

Monitor environmental and sustainability related legislation, regulations and codes to analysis potential impact on products and business strategy
Assist in developing relationships with legislators, regulatory agencies, industry groups, and standards organizations
Support the completion and submission of regulatory filings and compliance reports
Help identify and evaluate new market opportunities related to regulatory changes
Conduct competitive market research and analysis
Perform administrative duties to support regulatory and business development initiatives

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Sustainability, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
On track to graduate in the next 2 years or less
Knowledge of sustainability principles and passion for environmental issues
Knowledge of HVAC industry regulations and standards a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with data analysis and life cycle assessment tools
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Highly organized and attentive to details
