The Director of Revenue Cycle Automation will optimize and innovate automation across the revenue cycle, drive the design and operationalization of Epic-based solutions, and ensure compliance and alignment with enterprise goals.

Responsibilities

Serves as the revenue cycle expert in Epic-based solutions across front, middle, and back-end workflows; defines and executes automation strategy

Leads adoption processes, change management, and communication across impacted departments and sites; ensures staff readiness and engagement

Collaborate with operational leaders to redesign workflows, integrate governance standards, and maintain compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and payer requirements

Oversee vendor relationships and technology assessments; establishes governance standards and evaluates ROI for automation and Epic-related solutions

Monitors KPIs for cost savings, operational efficiency, and compliance; implements dashboards and analytics for continuous improvement; prepares executive-level reports

Develops and maintains a strategic roadmap for automation initiatives aligned with enterprise transformation goals

Required

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business IT, or related field

8+ years revenue cycle leadership in integrated health system using Epic

3+ years patient access management in acute care

Epic certification in at least one revenue cycle application (HB or PB preferred)

Preferred

Master's Degree

7+ years progressive leadership in enterprise transformation, vendor governance, and technology optimization

Strong understanding of RCM operations, payer rules, coding, billing, collections, and compliance

Demonstrated success in implementing automation or RCM optimization programs at scale

Project Management certification

Lean Six Sigma or process improvement credential
