Responsibilities

Apply JCL overrides and performs job restarts

Execute IPLs in a multi-LPAR platform

Manage scheduling packages (ASG-ZEKE)

Utilize TSO (SDSF / ISPF) for operational tasks

Handle file transfer processes (NDM and FTP)

Promote and demote code using appropriate software

Respond promptly to system requests and resolve issues

Communicate effectively with internal and external clients via email and team calls

Perform network troubleshooting, including executing trace routes

Use monitoring, archival, and incident management tools

Work with DASD, Virtual Tape Systems, HMCs, IPLs, and PORs

Qualification

IBM Mainframe z/OSJCLTSONetwork troubleshootingITIL certificationMicrosoft O365Problem-solving skillsCommunication skills

Required

1+ years of experience in IT industry (operations, customer service, or service desk)

Proactive and professional approach to duties

Proven investigation and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize and work independently

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with PC and Microsoft O365 suite

Familiarity with Microsoft Teams

1+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe z/OS computer operations

Knowledge of JCL, IPL, scheduling packages, TSO, file transfers, and code promotion/demotion

Understanding of network troubleshooting and system monitoring tools

Preferred

ITIL certification is a plus
