Business Development Manager
Pathfinders Executive Search is looking for a Business Development Manager specializing in Aviation/Airports. The role focuses on building an aviation pipeline and revenue through developing relationships with airport owners and strategic partners, while managing existing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with airport owners/executives and strategic partners
Identify and develop opportunities through market intelligence and targeted networking
Drive Go/No-Go decisions to ensure alignment with company strategy
Lead owner debriefs to strengthen relationships and improve win rate
Support Marketing and Operations in proposals, interviews, and pursuit prep
Represent the company at conferences and industry events
Qualification
Required
10+ years of business development experience
Must be able to 'talk shop'—fluent in aviation and airport language
Structured, organized, process-driven BD operator
Proven relationship stability and long-term client development
Preferred
Background from aviation planning or aviation engineering/design (A/E) firms preferred
