Deputy Director - Medicaid Project and Performance Management
The State of Nebraska is seeking a Deputy Director for Medicaid Project and Performance Management to lead strategic initiatives across the Medicaid and Long-Term Care system. This role focuses on project delivery, performance measurement, and fostering a culture of accountability to ensure the fulfillment of the agency's mission.

Responsibilities
Supports the Medicaid waiver processes
Provide leadership for MLTC’s strategic project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with Medicaid goals, federal requirements, and agency-wide priorities
Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and deliverables across MLTC, ensuring high-quality results and accountability
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with other MLTC teams, external partners, and contractors to ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives
Represent MLTC in cross-agency meetings, legislative hearings, and stakeholder discussions to communicate progress, promote transparency, and advocate for MLTC priorities
Monitor and evaluate project risks and performance gaps; provide recommendations and adjustments to maintain alignment with MLTC’s mission and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Health Policy, Business, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, performance improvement, or strategic planning in a public or healthcare setting
Demonstrated success in leading high-impact, cross-functional projects in complex organizations
Preferred
Master's degree in Public Administration, Health Policy, Business, or related field
Strong understanding of Medicaid, public health, or human service programs
