The role involves performing structural analysis and design, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with applicable building codes and project requirements
Prepare clear, concise, and well-organized engineering calculations and technical documentation
Assist in the development of construction drawings and technical details
Participate in project meetings and coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines
Review contractor Requests for Information (RFIs) and shop drawings
Conduct fieldwork, including site visits and structural observations
Contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship-focused work environment

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
Working knowledge of structural design and analysis tools (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads, Civil3D, SAP2000, LEAP, LARSA 4D)
Strong communication and time management skills
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
Internship or experience in bridge design
