Responsibilities

Builds and develops a highly skilled team of HR professionals trained to excel in executing all aspects of the organization’s HR Technology/HRIS strategy and mission
Utilizes exceptional people and resource management skills to allocate resources, assign work, provide direction, coach team members, develop talent and internal bench strength, evaluating individual and team performance against established goals
Possesses and applies comprehensive HR domain knowledge when devising solutions or servicing the needs of the client base; Builds breadth of HR professional knowledge across all HR domains
Displays a high level of expertise in the HR Technology discipline; Stays abreast of trends and applies best practices by maintaining external focus
Champions technology-enabling change initiatives across the organization
Strong working knowledge of SGNA’s HR Technology applications and associated business processes related to Workday
Leads the activities to diagnose, document, and resolve complex HR application issues from a functional, administrative, and operational perspective
Exhibits a consistently high level of customer service, collaboration, and consensus building skills while working with internal clients and stakeholders
Leads user support, systems administration, and mass data management activities which include systems maintenance, data conversion, table maintenance, integration monitoring, mass data uploads, and configuration functions for HR Technology applications
Leads efforts to create and publish HR Technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Acts as a key liaison to IT and Finance including prioritization, tracking, and approval of service requests
Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on HR applications including how to best leverage system capabilities to satisfy specific client needs
Manages and delivers large, complex HR Technology projects and system implementations specific to Workday support and integrations
Management of outside HR Technology vendors and service providers including planning and execution of upgrades, new releases, enhancements, and system fixes

Required

Bachelors degree in HR, technology, or related field is required
7+ years of relevant Workday experience
Strong technical knowledge of integrations, security, authentication, and IT related touchpoints
Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Experienced manager with the ability to lead and influence a team of professionals
Strong collaboration and consensus building skills, proactively partnering across the organization
Attention to detail, process orientation, and ability to provide detailed documentation required
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and ability to effectively scope technical parameters and anticipate impact required

Preferred

Master's degree in HR or IT related discipline
Preferred Certification(s): PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PMP, SCRUM, Workday, SuccessFactors SFX
