Program Manager - Part Time/Temporary

Responsibilities
Co-develop, plan, and implement educational and behavioral intervention programs in partnership with community health workers (CHWs) and community partners
Adapt evidence-based curricula and health promotion materials to meet the cultural and contextual needs of target communities
Coordinate logistics for program sessions, workshops, and field activities, ensuring accessibility and participant engagement
Support recruitment, training, and coordination of CHWs and other facilitators
Provide ongoing coaching, materials, and technical assistance to ensure consistent program delivery and data collection
Develop and administer pre- and post-intervention surveys, focus groups, and interviews
Collect, manage, and maintain participant-level data using REDCap, Qualtrics, or comparable systems
Ensure data quality control, confidentiality, and alignment with institutional review board (IRB) protocols
Work with the evaluation team to summarize findings and identify areas for program improvement
Serve as liaison between the Office of Community Health, Education and Training (CHET), research investigators, and community stakeholders
Represent the program at meetings, events, and conferences
Support culturally responsive communication strategies and foster community trust
Track and report on project progress, deliverables, and metrics
Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reports for funders and leadership
Contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, and grant proposals
Maintain organized project files and records
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
Perform other duties as assigned in support of CHET’s mission to advance health equity
Qualification
Required
3 years' experience managing community-based or educational health programs
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-site interventions and supervise CHWs
Proficiency in Qualtrics/REDCap, SPSS, or equivalent
Excellent organizational, communication, and cultural-competence skills
Ability to design, implement, and evaluate community-based educational interventions that address health disparities and promote behavioral change
Demonstrates cultural humility, respect, and responsiveness in engaging diverse populations; able to collaborate effectively with community members, CHWs, and local organizations
Effectively manages multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables; ensures smooth communication among internal and external partners
Applies evidence-based approaches to collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from surveys, focus groups, and interviews
Prepares clear reports, presentations, and educational materials; communicates results and progress to funders, leadership, and community audiences
Demonstrates flexibility in dynamic community settings; proactively identifies solutions to challenges in fieldwork and project delivery
Understands and adheres to human subjects protections, IRB procedures, and data privacy requirements
Preferred
Master's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Behavioral or Community Health (or related field) preferred; Bachelor's with extensive experience acceptable
