Answering calls promptly and professionally

Directing calls: transferring calls to the appropriate departments

Demonstrate friendliness when greeting all customers

Provide helpful assistance in anticipating and responding to the needs of customers (e.g., directing, and/or answering questions)

Operate Communication Equipment and technology to manage calls efficiently

Demonstrate effective communication skills

Communicate identified issues and concerns in a constructive manner and participate in generating ideas and solutions for improvements

Maintaining records: Keeping logs of codes and alarms for tracking and reference

Handling Paging Systems: operating paging system to communicate important messages to staff members throughout the hospital

Maintaining professionalism: upholding a courteous and professional demeanor at all times, even under pressure
