Responsibilities
Set up machines for new SKUs and customer-specific custom requests
Design dies and fixtures that make production smoother
Troubleshoot equipment and keep downtime to a minimum
Optimize processes to improve yield and reduce waste
Use AutoCAD and Excel to turn data into decisions
Lead continuous improvement projects that make a real difference
Qualification
Required
Hands-on problem solver
Ability to work with people and machines
Curious and proactive
Ready to take ownership of projects
Experience in setting up machines for new SKUs and customer-specific custom requests
Experience in designing dies and fixtures
Experience in troubleshooting equipment
Experience in optimizing processes to improve yield and reduce waste
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel
Experience in leading continuous improvement projects
Preferred
Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment)
Knowledge of unwind/rewind processes
Knowledge of web handling
Knowledge of converting, coater, laminating or slitting equipment
