Responsibilities
Make decisions on batch adjustments for application properties and physical properties
You will also be responsible for training lab technicians accordingly
Drive process improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance lab efficiency
Mentor team members, track performance goals, and foster professional growth
Communicate and coordinate priorities across shifts
Champion 6S standards, minimize waste, and collaborate with manufacturing and distribution for on-time delivery
Address quality-related issues, verify customer complaints, and implement corrective actions
Work with customers regarding approvals, test discrepancies, and new test methods
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures
Work and supervise the analytical lab for all raw material and in process batches
Qualification
Required
Two (2) year of supervisory or related leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Ability to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred
Three (3) years of previous experience working in a professional or academic lab environment
