Responsibilities
Procure classified and unclassified information technology services for DISA and non DISA mission partners, serving as the primary business advisor to mission partners
Collaborate with mission partners on programmatic needs, acquisition planning and preparation of complete acquisition packages within a defined schedule
Prepare and issue solicitations, evaluate proposals, perform cost/price analysis to determine fair and reasonableness
Conduct source selections and/or negotiation; collaborate with Policy and General Counsel
Award and Monitor contracts; perform contract administration
Qualification
Required
You must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application
You must have completed at least three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree for the GS-11 Position

Education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university
You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Must be a U.S. Citizen
This national security position requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment
Obtain/Maintain Contracting (1102) Professional Certification
This is a covered position and the person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment
Acquisition certification in the Contracting Functional Area at the Contracting Professional Functional Tier within 36 months of entry into this position is required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited education institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees
In addition to meeting the basic educational requirement applicants must have at least two years of experience in contracting positions
For the GS-11, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service
For the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service
For the GS-13, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service
Candidates must describe how their experience meets the specialized experience requirement within the body of their resume
Qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position
Qualification and time-in-grade requirements must be met within 30 days after the submission of your application
