Camp Administrative Assistant

Mass Audubon is the largest nature-based conservation organization in New England, focused on environmental challenges. The Drumlin Farm Nature Camp is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, assist with communications, and maintain accurate records for the summer camp program.

Responsibilities

Answer all communications via phone, email and in person from families promptly with a friendly and professional manner, and communicate information to relevant staff
Assist with administrative tasks such as processing registrations and payments, creating attendance sheets, sending out welcome letters, and managing attendance
Collect, file, and maintain confidentiality of health documents and hiring paperwork
Additional related duties may be requested such as helping staff with office duties and walking campers to and from groups

Required

At least 18 years of age
Excellent communication and customer service skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills such as Google or Microsoft suite
Able to work independently, multi-task and stay focused and unperturbed while handling interruption by phones, co-workers and visitors

Preferred

Hold current First Aid and CPR certifications or participate in Mass Audubon provided training to obtain certification prior to the beginning of camp
