Requirements / Systems Engineer
Sherpa 6, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business focused on developing advanced technologies and systems integration for the Army. They are seeking a Requirements / Systems Engineer to enhance requirements traceability and support software development processes, collaborating with teams to improve program efficiency and achieve CMMI certification.

Responsibilities
Integrate requirements traceability across multiple programs primarily linked to software development and associated tools and processes (Jira, Test, etc.)
Work with the Sherpa 6 software development team and support customer requirements documentation, requirements traceability, and program risk identification and tracking
Facilitate programs in the areas of design, development, and integration of technologies in systems fielded to warfighters
Document requirements directly to customer driven priorities
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering and 5 years of experience in related work
SME in the use of Jama
Demonstrated systems engineering experience on multiple integration programs
Demonstrated ability to manage time and development of SE products across multiple programs simultaneously
Excellent problem-solving skills in resolving issues with complex requirements traceability tracking
Superior verbal and writing communication skills
Experience with systems engineering processes and related SE product development
Preferred
MS is Systems Engineering
Familiarity with the TAK ecosystem
Familiarity with MDMs
Familiarity with the military acquisition system
Military experience – preferred
INCOSE CSEP Certification
CMMI processes, associated tools, and certification
