Responsibilities

Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency of modeling, researching results, and improving the forecasting process

Responsible for the review and analysis of the financial forecast, synthesizing and communicating the key metrics and messages, and working with business management to ensure alignment on assumptions and results

Apply actuarial analysis in the development and maintenance of sound, efficient, and accurate systems to support calculations and recommendations

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

6+ years of experience

Basic knowledge of business field supported

Must maintain continuing education requirements as specified by either SOA or AAA

Preferred

Good communication skills and knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or ability to learn

MG-ALFA experience

A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or global equivalent, or Enrolled Actuary

Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, the Actuarial Standards of Practice promulgated by the Actuarial Standards Board, and the Code of Professional Conduct of the AAA and the SoA
