They are seeking a highly detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the Finance team, performing various accounting functions and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities
Compile cost of revenue and operational metrics to facilitate gross margin and profitability analysis
Prepare payroll, cost, and other journal entries
Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis
Perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
Review current accounting procedures and make recommendations for new transactions and standards
Contribute to accounting, internal controls, process, and systems-related projects
Assist with year-end financial reporting, footnote preparation, and the related audit
Semi-monthly payroll processing and coordination with HR on personnel changes
Review vendor contracts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
Ensure compliance with state payroll taxes
Ensure compliance with state sales taxes and other statutory filings
Prepare support and coordinate completion of state income taxes
Coordinate with Billing and Clinical Operations on timesheet issues
Take on ad-hoc requests
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a Bachelor's degree in business with emphasis in accounting
3+ years of general accounting experience
Intacct Accounting system experience or similar ERP
ADP Workforce Now experience or similar payroll system
Strong computer skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work independently
Must be a self-starter and team player who is excited to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Demonstrated ability in time management with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting
Public accounting experience
