Responsibilities
Perform visual and functional inspection of PCB assemblies under magnification per IPC-J-STD 001 standards
Conduct basic rework and soldering on through-hole and surface mount components
Interpret basic schematics and assembly drawings to support inspection and rework tasks
Assist in production testing and record results accurately
Maintain ESD-safe work areas and follow established cleanroom and handling procedures
Support calibration and maintenance of quality lab equipment
Document defects and assist in quality data collection for analysis
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly
Proficient in basic soldering and component identification
Familiar with the use of multi-meters and basic hand tools
Comfortable reading wiring diagrams or simple circuit drawings
NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check
Preferred
IPC-J-STD 001 certification or equivalent training
Basic understanding of RF and digital electronics
Familiarity with Linux or Windows-based test systems
Demonstrated attention to detail and reliability in fast-paced environments
