Responsibilities
Manage the White Rock YMCA website, providing edits and updates as needed
Create and manage email marketing campaigns and analysis
Actively update and maintain the White Rock YMCA Program Guide
Create and maintain social media
Provide web & print design creative support to branch initiatives (templates, flyers, postcards, brochures, etc.)
Adhere to YMCA Brand Standards
Consult with Association and branch staff on a variety of marketing projects and initiatives
Identify and maintain relationships with community stakeholders
Fundraise to further the Misson of the YMCA
Train and supervise part time staff (5-8 part time staff)
Perform other duties based on the needs of the organization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent and/or four years of marketing or related field experience
2+ years' experience in marketing, web design or digital communications
Website design (HTML, CMS, Drupal, WordPress, web editors)
Proficient in Canva
Marketing campaign assets
Email marketing (Constant Contact or similar)
Content creation, social media posts & ads
Strong work ethic
Innovative and forward-thinking
Be a team player who can work cross-functionally
Strong communication skills; written and verbal
Self-starter who is detail-oriented
Fast learner with the ability to grasp new concepts and adapt quickly
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Able to take charge, lead and train others
Ability to maintain relationships with branch staff and consult with team members
Manage & organize multiple requests from a variety of staff
Represent the White Rock YMCA on consultative projects and events
Preferred
Bilingual abilities are a plus (write or speak proficiently)
