Construction

Responsibilities

Comply with safety and environmental regulations, building codes, and industry standards, including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Perform electrical installation, verification, maintenance, and testing on various voltages (AC/DC, single/three-phase)
Conduct maintenance, inspections, and condition reporting for existing electrical systems as per manufacturer instructions and installation requirements
Install wired and wireless solutions, ensuring compliance with 18th Edition BS 7671 and relevant standards while assessing electrical loads
Install mains-powered life safety systems in industrial, commercial, and residential settings
Install electrical connections for heating and cooling systems in different installations
Communicate and collaborate with project teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring data security

Required

English and Maths at GCSE Grade 4 or above, or Functional Skills at Level 2 or above
Completed a Level 2 Electrical Installation Diploma
Living in England for the last 3 years and have right to work status
Not enrolled on any other courses
18+ due to site H&S rules

The passion and commitment to become a fully qualified Electrician
Previous related work experience
A CSCS/ECS Card
