Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician

Responsibilities
Participate in both independent and multi-disciplinary evaluations to formulate diagnostic impressions and provide comprehensive treatment plans
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with complex developmental and behavioral disorders
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assure quality and patient-centered care for children and their families
Provide excellent teaching opportunities with General Pediatrics residents, fellows in Child Psychiatry, and Mayo Clinic medical students
Engage in clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory-based research
Qualification
Required
Participation in independent and multi-disciplinary evaluations to formulate diagnostic impressions and provide comprehensive treatment plans
Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including specialists from Neuropsychology, Child Psychiatry, General Pediatrics, Genetics, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sleep Medicine, Speech Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Audiology
Experience in teaching opportunities with General Pediatrics residents, fellows in Child Psychiatry, and medical students
Engagement in clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory-based research
Commitment to providing quality and patient-centered care for children and their families
