Research Analyst, Precision Analytics Program Administrator

The Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago is dedicated to transforming mental health through innovative care and research. The Research Analyst will support the Precision Analytics Team by coordinating projects and ensuring quality data and analytics initiatives are delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

Coordinates schedules, meetings, and project timelines for the Precision Analytics Team
Tracks and maintains records of analytics projects, deliverables, and outcomes
Supports communication with internal teams, leadership, and external partners
Generates and shares reports to inform decision-making and program evaluation
Collaborates closely with analysts, the systems coordinator, research fellows, and the Associate Director of Precision Analytics
Ensures smooth integration of analytics with program, training, and operations teams
Contributes to organizational projects beyond core duties, such as event logistics, communications, or process documentation
Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project
Analyzes and maintains data and/or specimens. Conducts literature reviews. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents
Installs, sets up and performs experiments; interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator
Maintains recruiting and scheduling research subjects; assisting with developing or amending study protocols; assisting with developing data collection tools; assisting with building databases; and providing general administrative support. Has general awareness in research techniques or methods, regulatory policies and procedures, and relevant scientific field

Required

Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field
Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and project management platforms
