New Grad, Entry LevelMidwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Retort Operating Assistant responsible for creating shelf stable products for customers. The role involves assisting in the cooking process, maintaining documentation, and supporting various production areas as needed.

Responsibilities
Regular worksite attendance
Pressure cooking product for commercial sterilization
Load and unload baskets into retort machine
Maintain accurate documentation
Assist in cooking process as needed under supervision of Retort Supervisor
Assist in verifying retort process by completing paperwork required for filing
Other duties as assigned, includes assisting in various production areas on an as needed basis
Qualification
Required

Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
Capable of lifting/pushing 40+ lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Must always wear personal protective equipment
Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions
