American Greetings is one of the largest and most innovative creative companies in the world, seeking a Creative Marketing Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will collaborate with the Creative Marketing team to create engaging content and campaigns while gaining valuable work experience.

Responsibilities

Be part of creating fun, scroll-stopping content, campaigns, and so much more for our world class Celebrations company

Work with a team of Creatives to leverage insights and strategy to create awesome creative work that speaks to customers and the world’s largest retailers

Qualification

Adobe Creative SuiteGraphic DesignAfter EffectsMicrosoft PowerPointSocial media savvyPortfolio presentationCommunication skillsTeam collaborationProblem-solving skills

Required

A minimum of 2 years as a student working toward BFA or BA in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Illustration, motion graphics/animation, or equivalent

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with aptitude for After Effects

Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is helpful

A portfolio showcasing concepting/problem-solving skills which communicate ideas, themes and storytelling across a range of projects

Must have plans to reside in Northeast Ohio for the Summer of 2026

There is no housing stipend associated with this internship

Must be able to work full time hours for the duration of the internship

Has a great sense of humor and brings this sense of fun and playfulness to your work

Is a good communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, who embraces collaboration with team and business partners

Is social media and pop culture savvy, keenly aware of established and emerging digital/social trends, platforms, and influencers

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to handle multiple projects at once as well as plan and prioritize work

Displays a professional and positive attitude with team members
