Tech- Ammonia Refrigeration: Sun-Wed 6pm-6:30am

Confer with operators and observes, tests, and evaluates operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction
Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs
Interface with state and federal government agencies as required
Operate refrigeration and utility systems
Perform daily chemical testing and logging all test results, making adjustments required to maintain refrigeration & utility system within established limits
This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws
Perform other duties as assigned

They also respond to any breakdowns, meaning they may need to be on call to conduct emergency repairs

Ability to work various shifts
Multi-craft/multi-skilled with expertise in electrical, electrical controls, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and fabrication
Working and practical knowledge of plant utility systems is highly desirable, (including boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration systems, compressed air systems)
Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor (may depend on the role)
Work conditions are typical of a food manufacturing facility
This role does not require any domestic travel
Position requires the physical agility to perform continuous lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring
Position requires the physical ability to stand/walk for the duration of work hours
Preferred
3-5 years of experience in related field is preferred
Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products
Associates degree or equivalent is preferred
Ammonia Refrigeration Certification is a plus
