They are seeking a Dress Out Technician to perform installation and assembly of components for towing equipment, ensuring functionality and quality before final inspection.
Transportation
Responsibilities
Verifies functionality of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems
Performs inspections before unit is sent for final inspection
Builds subassemblies, route hoses, and wires
Cuts, drills, and fabricates brackets according to order specifications
Connects electrical wiring and cables
Installs lighting fixtures, controls, wiring, switches, and junction boxes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have understanding of hydraulics and 12-volt DC electrical systems
Must have basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wiring tools, etc.)
Must be able to work overtime and weekends
Regularly required to talk and hear
Required to stand, walk, climb, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Frequently required to use fingers, hands and arms to handle and reach
Must frequently lift and/or move 5-10lbs
Must rarely lift and/or move up to 75+lbs
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Occasionally required to work four 12-hour days, up to 5 days consecutively as business demands
Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; flashing lights; and outside weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud

Double time paid for work on Sundays (regardless of whether 40 hrs. have been reached in the work week)
