Summer Law Intern
Investment Company Institute (ICI) is the leading global association of mutual funds, ETFs, and other regulated funds. They currently have an internship opportunity in their Law department where interns will assist attorneys in developing policy positions and analyzing legislative and regulatory proposals relevant to the mutual fund industry.

Responsibilities
Research legal and regulatory issues (e.g., rule proposal and adoptions and enforcement actions) and summarize findings in emails and/or memoranda
Contribute to written advocacy (e.g., comment letters) and educational materials (e.g., issue-specific website materials)
Draft communications to law department staff (e.g., summaries of conferences) and members
Work on various policy projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Current law student with excellent academic credentials (including coursework in corporate and securities law)
Research legal and regulatory issues (e.g., rule proposal and adoptions and enforcement actions) and summarize findings in emails and/or memoranda
Contribute to written advocacy (e.g., comment letters) and educational materials (e.g., issue-specific website materials)
Draft communications to law department staff (e.g., summaries of conferences) and members
Work on various policy projects as needed
Preferred
Knowledge and interest in investing and the investment management industry is a plus
