Re:Build Optimation Technology, LLC is an engineering, design and fabrication firm in Rochester, New York. They are seeking a Journey Worker - Millwright who will be responsible for installing and aligning industrial machinery while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Install machinery and equipment using layout plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Dismantle, move, assemble, and install machinery using hoists, dollies, lifts, rollers, and rigging equipment
Precisely align machinery (shafts, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mechanical systems) using micrometers, squares, optical alignment tools, plumb bobs, rules, and other precision instruments
Bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten components to foundations or supporting structures
Operate lathes, mills, and other shop machining equipment as needed
Perform rigging and crane work safely and efficiently; advanced rigging is a plus
Assist in mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance activities
Maintain awareness of construction and industrial site hazards; follow OSHA and company safety standards
Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks

Physically capable of climbing, lifting heavy objects, working from heights, and entering confined spaces
Ability to work in hot, cold, and outdoor environments in all weather conditions
Ability to read and write in English and understand mechanical drawings
Basic computer and communication skills
Regular full-time availability, working a 40-hour day schedule
Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours as required
