Literacy Success Coach
MyHRLane is seeking a Literacy Success Coach to serve as the on-site literacy lead at the Parkland Boys & Girls Club. The role focuses on supervising tutoring implementation, coaching literacy strategies, and engaging families to strengthen collaboration across partners.

Responsibilities
Provide on-site supervision during tutoring sessions delivered by Evolve502 tutors
Support smooth day-to-day implementation of the literacy tutoring program
Serve as a point of contact between IWRBR, Boys & Girls Club staff, and Evolve502
Troubleshoot challenges and support consistency, attendance, and engagement
Offer ongoing coaching and support to tutors in collaboration with IWRBR and Evolve502 leadership
Model literacy strategies, instructional routines, and student engagement techniques rooted in the science of reading
Reinforce trauma-responsive and culturally sustaining practices within tutoring sessions
Participate in Boys & Girls Club–planned activities and events to build relationships with families
Support outreach and enrollment of new children into the tutoring program
Communicate program goals and literacy supports to families in accessible, engaging ways
Plan and execute three literacy-focused family nights between February and May
Design family engagement experiences rooted in the science of reading strategies and at-home literacy practices
Collaborate with Boys & Girls Club staff and partners to ensure events are welcoming, engaging, and accessible
Collaborate closely with Boys & Girls Club staff to integrate literacy into after-school programming
Participate in check-ins with IWRBR and partner organizations
Share observations, feedback, and program updates to support continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience in literacy, education, tutoring coordination, or youth development
Strong understanding of the science of reading and evidence-based literacy practices
Experience supporting or coaching educators, tutors, or youth-serving staff
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple partner organizations
Preferred
Experience in out-of-school time or after-school settings
Background in family engagement or community-based programming
Familiarity with trauma-responsive or equity-centered instructional practices
