Digital Asset Management Intern

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Provides general, entry-level support to the internal communications and marketing departments
Assists in the ingestion of audiovisual files and creative assets into DAM/CMS/MAM systems
Applies metadata to uploaded content, following defined standards, naming conventions, and controlled vocabularies
Supports the organization of folder structures and digital file libraries to ensure consistency and searchability
Conducts basic quality checks on uploaded materials (e.g., format, resolution, completeness)
Supports the execution of workflows for asset sharing, delivery, and storage across internal teams
Responds to basic user inquiries and provide troubleshooting support related to digital asset tools
Helps maintain user documentation, guides, and onboarding materials
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure assets are delivered and available on time
Assists marketing and communications in the development of new methods to improve DAM user experience and process efficacy and efficiency

Required

Current college junior/senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in library science, communications, marketing or computer science
Must have at least a 2.8 GPA
Must be involved in at least 1 extra-curricular activity or volunteer activity
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable working across digital tools and learning new platforms quickly

Preferred

3.0 or 3.2+ GPA preferred
Knowledge of CMS (Content Management Systems), metadata standards, digital rights and database management, and cloud-based storage platforms
