Financial Project Analyst

The Financial Project Analyst is responsible for ensuring the financial health of North America's rolling stock projects by providing accurate reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support project managers and the finance team.

Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports for rolling stock projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Work closely with project managers to monitor and maintain project budgets, identifying variances and corrective actions
Conduct financial scenario analyses to support project planning and contingency strategies
Create and manage payment schedules for projects, ensuring compliance with contractual terms
Manage project-level cash flow plans, ensuring liquidity and alignment with company objectives
Oversee bonding requirements for projects, including performance bonds and payment bonds
Identify financial risks and opportunities at the project level
Drive initiatives to maximize project profitability through proactive financial management and strategic insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, project controlling, or similar roles (preferably in manufacturing or project-based industries)
Strong understanding of financial forecasting
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience in BI applications, such as Power BI is a plus
