Applications Analyst- Ambulatory

WellSpan Health is seeking an Applications Analyst to provide analytical support for various business and clinical applications. The role involves maintaining applications that align with enterprise strategies and providing support to ensure effective decision support systems and clinical support systems.

Responsibilities

Creates and maintains applications in support of enterprise strategies and objectives
Contributes to healthcare enterprise and subject area implementations and may serve as project leader in some cases
Assists with defining and modifying applications
Uses software maintenance and report writing tools as required
Prepares status reports on tasks assigned
Understands data structure modeling and applies that knowledge to generate solution for our clients
Utilizes basic knowledge, skills and ability to provide day-to-day support for assigned applications and customers
Continuously updates personal information technology skills and knowledge
Attends meetings as required
Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation

Required

High School Diploma or GED Required
3 years including at least 1 year of experience supporting healthcare applications or technologies Required
Min Field Of Expertise: Computer Science/Information Systems with healthcare data/systems analysis
Able to work well in a Team Environment as a member and/or leader
Able to accept responsibility
Thorough knowledge of relevant specialty areas
Analytical and logical approach to solving problems
Clarity and discipline in communication skills - written and verbal
Capable of imaginative and abstract reasoning
Demonstrates advanced troubleshooting skills
Understands general project management and software development/support principles
Self-reliant and capable of independent work
Knowledge of system process engineering
