Survey Project Manager/ RPLS
Morris P. Hebert, Inc. is built on a foundation of strong family values and is seeking a Survey Project Manager to support Senior Project Managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of survey projects. This role involves managing field and office personnel, ensuring quality and compliance, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Assist in developing project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and cost estimates
Conduct preliminary site visits, route studies, and detailed route selection
Manage field and office teams to meet performance metrics and ensure adherence to company policies
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and adjust resources to meet project timelines and budgets
Conduct field audits to verify performance and compliance with operational procedures
Maintain effective communication with clients, supervisors, peers, and subordinates
Prepare and deliver progress reports to management and clients
Generate work assignments and work orders for field and office teams
Collaborate with the Equipment Manager to ensure survey crews are properly equipped and supplied
Conduct formal and informal performance evaluations for team members
Perform QA/QC inspections of field survey activities to ensure compliance with project specifications
Assist in verifying survey data, design mapping, and computations
Qualification
Required
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor
Minimum of 2 years as an Assistant Project Manager, or a minimum of 4 years in a similar role
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience)
Strong familiarity with project management methods and strategies; demonstrated experience in personnel and task management
Experience with practical survey and pipeline construction methods, including: Survey control, Boundary recovery, Topographic and hazard survey, Construction staking, Field design and as-built methodologies
Practical knowledge of State Land Survey Requirements, Client standards, and Pipeline Industry Standards
Solid working knowledge of current survey equipment and software technologies, including Trimble and Autodesk products
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to: Read and adapt to various communication styles, Elicit cooperation from diverse stakeholders, Defuse tension within project teams
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments
