$18/hr - $25/hrThe City of Minot is accepting applications for a Full Time Summer Intern for the Minot International Airport. The intern will learn about airport administration, operations, facility maintenance, and security while enhancing critical thinking skills and effectively communicating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Job shadow assigned staff of other departments, such as airport operations and maintenance, airport facilities, airport administration, etc
Participate in aviation activities state-wide as scheduling and budgets permit
Will be assigned time primarily within the airport’s Operations and Maintenance department, with additional time spent in other major divisions of the airport
The Intern will be assigned a special project to be completed prior to conclusion of the internship. This project will be tailored to the Intern's background, interests, field of study or needs of the airport
At the end of the program, the Intern will give a presentation to the Airport Administration and other City officials about their experience, special project, and learnings
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in good academic standing OR be a recent college graduate (within last 6 months of application)
The City may consider a high school student that has completed '1760 Aviation Technology I' coursework from Minot School District or equivalent and be in good academic standing
Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application
Must have a valid driver's license at time of application
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen
Must be able to obtain an Airport Security Badge (which includes fingerprint criminal history records check and security badging test)
