1+ years expHyatt Regency Austin is a certified Great Place to Work® located on the shores of Lady Bird Lake. They are seeking a talented General Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team, responsible for repairs and preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
Responsible primarily for repairs in guest rooms but may assist with maintenance requests in other areas of the hotel
Preventative maintenance in guest rooms and some public area spaces are included
Responsibilities will also include painting, drywall repair, tile repair, wall vinyl repair as needed
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of maintenance experience required
Strong troubleshooting skills (electricity, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, etc.)
Good communications skills are required
Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, occasional overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
Experience involving painting and tile/wall repair strongly preferred
Previous General hotel maintenance experience is a plus
