Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, secure, and configurable platform services for the Provider Servicing Team

Lead backend development and support of services across backend (Java/Spring Cloud) and integration platforms (Mulesoft and others)

Utilize working knowledge of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) and actively contribute to AI adoption in development and operational aspects

Build and enrich APIs and data services to integrate with partners

Collaborate with product managers, operations analysts, customer advocates in building solutions that helps Providers integrate with our platform

Understand architectural decisions and actively drive reusable patterns for cloud-native, AI-enabled backend systems

Lead and mentor other engineers in the team and help them succeed

Actively work with the operations and customer advocates to create efficient processes through automations to improve SLAs

Required

10+ years as a Backend Engineer

Strong proficiency in Java & Spring Cloud

Deep understanding of microservices architecture and Integration platforms

Regular use of AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf)

Extensive experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS/GCP preferred)

Hands-on experience in data architecture, SQL/PostgreSQL, and developing data-intensive services

Prior experience in building, launching, and maintaining complex systems

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, and product managers, to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs

Excellent communication skills across all levels and teams
