Establish an independent extramurally supported research program
Conduct collaborative research
Engage in service activities
Teach electrical and computer engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Develop and maintain an internationally recognized research program
Effective classroom teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Service within the University and within professional communities
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. with research experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) or a closely related discipline by the time of appointment
Demonstrated track record of high-impact research as evidenced by scholarly publications
Exhibit strong potential (assistant rank) or an established record (higher rank) of extramural funding and teaching effectiveness
Strong aptitude for effective teaching in core and specialized areas of the curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Establish an independent extramurally supported research program
Conduct collaborative research
Engaged in service activities
Teach electrical and computer engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Evidence of accomplishments and experiences that have prepared the applicant for diverse constituents in research, teaching, and service

Candidates with industrial experience are also encouraged to apply
