Responsibilities
Generating business through prospecting and securing non-negotiated transient business on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the goals and strategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and in concert with WSO efforts
Soliciting and securing business from key travel industry sources
Generating resort awareness through direct sales and digital solicitation; direct in-person sales calls, tradeshows, and networking
Working closely with the sales and marketing team to solicit, sell, and confirm business required to meet budgeted sales goals
Ensuring quotas and goals are met and ensuring that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible RevPar for the overall hotel’s success
Exercising a high degree of independent judgment and discretion in decision-making
Qualification
Required
Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 3 years) or 3 – 5 or operational hotel experience Proven sales track record a plus
College Degree – 4 years or equivalent experience
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
Computer skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Golden Sales & Catering, IDeaS, TravelClick, and Opera
