Responsibilities

Performs quantity surveys and take offs for tracking and reporting

Assist Project Manager in preparation of change proposals to the client

Under general supervision, performs routine duties

Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering and construction techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications

Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work

Independently performs site walks and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design

May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors

Required

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred

Experience working on Heavy Civil Construction projects

Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant experience

Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail

Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders

Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks

Highly organized with excellent time management skills

Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills

Understanding of basic scheduling practices

Understanding of basic cost reporting procedures
