Responsibilities
Build and perform crypto-native reconciliation processes for new products using data sourced from internal ledgers
Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests
Research important accounting issues and apply best practices in accordance with accounting standards
Assist with ad hoc research, cleanup, and reporting projects
Work with various departments to streamline data flow and accounting processes
Assist with system automation projects as needed
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3–5 years of total experience, preferably combined across public accounting and industry
An understanding of GAAP standards
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
Experience using SQL
Preferred
Hands-on experience in the financial close process
Experience with blockchain, digital assets, and crypto
Experience using a crypto subledger
