The intern will develop models to investigate pharmacokinetic mechanisms, apply cell biology techniques, and contribute to innovative experimental approaches in drug development.

Responsibilities
Develop organ-on-chip, physiology-based models to investigate key pharmacokinetic mechanisms
Apply cell biology and high-content confocal imaging techniques to study intracellular processing of large-molecule therapeutics
Contribute to the development of innovative experimental approaches for predictive PK investigation
Gain hands-on exposure to cell biology, high-content imaging, and biotherapeutic drug development
Summarize findings in written reports and present results at departmental meetings and the company-wide intern poster session
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student)
Cell Biology; Bioengineering / Biomedical Engineering; Pharmacology; Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields
Proficiency in cell culture, cell staining, and standard laboratory techniques, with the ability to multitask and meet timelines efficiently and productively
Prior experience with complex primary cell culture, in vitro cell-based systems, or organ-on-chip models is highly desired
Experience with confocal microscopy or high content imaging is highly desired
Solid experience in experimental design and execution, data analysis, interpretation, and documentation, with keen attention to detail
Preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
