Responsibilities
Lead inspection and repair activities for complex PCB assemblies
Conduct root cause analysis and failure diagnostics using advanced tools
Perform functional testing and repair on customer-returned units (RMAs)
Support and train junior technicians on proper inspection, soldering, and ESD practices
Maintain and calibrate specialized test and diagnostic equipment
Collaborate closely with Engineering to resolve recurring product issues
Build and validate test fixtures and jigs used for production verification
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED, or an Associate's degree in Electronics, with 2 years of relevant experience
Minimum 4 years of hands-on electronics experience
Advanced soldering and rework proficiency (fine-pitch SMT, BGAs, micro coax)
Strong troubleshooting skills using schematics and test instruments
Experience documenting and communicating technical findings to engineers
NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check
Preferred
Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) under IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD 001
Familiarity with RF and high-speed digital circuit testing
Experience with Linux-based diagnostic tools
Proven leadership and mentoring experience
Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary production environment
