Welder I (Precision Assembler) - 3rd Shift
Senior Metal Bellows has been innovating in custom-engineered metal bellows for over 70 years. They are seeking a Welder I (Precision Assembler) to learn and assist in various manufacturing processes while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Learn to work from drawings and written work instructions, with step-by-step guidance and support from experienced teammates
Assist with machine set-ups and operating conditions, learning how equipment works and when to ask for help—we encourage questions
Help maintain quality and productivity standards, making simple adjustments as you build confidence and skills
Inspect parts using basic measuring tools (such as micrometers and verniers) and visual checks—training is provided
Perform visual inspections to check part and weld quality, and learn when additional inspection is needed
Learn how we use quality tools and data (including SPC) to prevent issues and continuously improve our processes
Use basic computer systems to record work and labor time, with hands-on training provided
Qualification
Required
high school diploma or equivalent GED
steady, hands-on work and are eager to learn
mechanical mindset and enjoy working with your hands
knack for paying attention to details
Preferred
prior manufacturing, mechanical, assembly, automotive, or technical experience (helpful, but not required)
