Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform efficient detailed analysis
Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the design and functionality of Power BI solutions meet business needs
Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards
Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports as per the business requirements
Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards
Implement row-level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation
Make technology recommendations that support and enhance the business goals
Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, specifically with Power BI
Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist with a strong focus on Power BI
Proficiency in data analytics, data visualization, and report creation using Power BI
Strong understanding of Power BI application security, including Row Level Security and Role Level Security
Proficiency in creating DAX queries in Power BI
Experience in data-specific roles: ETL development, data modeling, data integration, and data warehousing
Strong SQL skills for querying and creation of complex datasets
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Strong understanding of metered power in data center environments, including Power Equivalent Unit (PEU) calculations
Experience analyzing and managing TRF utilization
Comprehensive knowledge of YARDI, including rent roll management and fixed asset monitoring
Familiarity with impurity-based telemetry hubs for temperature monitoring
Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView
Experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and scripting
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and architecture
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
