Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, maintains integrity and security of the operating system environment
Performs software installations and upgrades to hardware and operating system software; maintains in accordance with established information technology policies and procedures
Performs server administration setup
Coordinates disk space planning and management
Performs data backups and recoveries
Supports media management through internal methods and procedures and use of offsite storage and retrieval services
Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting
Participates in change control
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline
Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience
Department is willing to accept education in lieu of experience
Department is willing to accept experience in lieu of education
Preferred
Experience supporting the Hilton PEP Property Management System (PMS) in a hospitality or hotel environment
Experience supporting, administering, or coordinating Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems
Working knowledge of hosted or cloud-based enterprise voice systems, including Hilton Hosted VoIP
Experience supporting access management systems, including Dormakaba Ambiance Server, with hands-on experience integrating access control systems with PMS to support seamless guest check-in operations
Experience administering backend systems for hospitality software solutions, including Agilysys Point of Sale platforms
Experience supporting and administering server-based video surveillance systems, including Hanwha security camera infrastructure
Proficiency with endpoint and systems management platforms, including Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager
