Grindr is building the global gayborhood in your pocket, and they are seeking a Tax Intern to support their Finance organization. This role involves assisting with tax operations, maintaining tax records, and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the Tax team.

Responsibilities

Assist with reviewing, tracking, and responding to state corporate income tax notices in a timely and organized manner

Help maintain and organize tax records, workpapers, and correspondence to ensure accurate and easily accessible documentation

Support ongoing efforts to streamline and improve tax department processes and internal workflows

Partner with members of the Tax and broader Finance teams to support day-to-day operational needs

Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Required

Ability to commit 10–15 hours per week during standard business hours

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfort working with spreadsheets, documents, and basic data tracking tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets)

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Interest in tax, accounting, or finance operations

Preferred

Have coursework or prior exposure to accounting, tax, finance, or a related field

Have experience working with financial documentation or administrative processes

Have familiarity with process documentation or workflow improvement
