Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols
Maintain accurate records and logs of observations, incidents, and activities during shifts
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents
Carry and maintain assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and all applicable laws and regulations
Provide visible presence to help to deter potential threats and promote a secure environment within the food and beverage facility
Qualification
Required
An armed guard card or license is required
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
