Responsibilities

Assist with the Forever in Your Heart bereavement program
Support Parkview's perinatal loss families by using 3D scanning and 3D printing to create personalized keepsake mementos
Contribute to a variety of innovative projects involving the design and fabrication of patient-specific anatomical models
Work on novel task trainers and custom educational tools for both patients and healthcare providers

Qualification

Required

Current undergraduate college student or graduate college student
GPA of 3.0 or above
Submission of Cover Letter, Resume, and Letter of Recommendation
Hands-on experience in applied medical simulation and advanced manufacturing technologies
Design engineering process experience
Technical skills with CAD software
Experience with SLA or FDM additive manufacturing
Experience with two-part RTV rubber molding
Soldering skills
Programming skills
Data collection skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship
Specific license and/or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship
