Temporary Administrative Specialist II - 182633
The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking an Administrative Specialist II to join their team. Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and enter information into databases or software programs
Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information
Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions
Perform other general clerical and secretarial duties as requested, which may include recordkeeping, maintaining office supplies and coordinating equipment maintenance, and handling packages and correspondence
Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
Maintain files and filing systems in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Must complete a nationwide criminal background check
Must be able to attend required training
Demonstrated ability to retain DMV policies and procedures and apply them to your daily specified tasks
May be required to work extended hours outside of the normally scheduled work week
A high school diploma or equivalent
Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted with prior approval
Must complete a nationwide criminal background check to include finger printing
