Responsibilities
Responsible for leading engagements: perform planning; modify fieldwork strategy in response to issues encountered; devise action plans to solve complicated problems; monitor and modify engagement time budgets; and responsible for completing engagements in a timely and efficient manner
Responsible for the day-to-day on-the-job training and supervision of staff
Regularly assess the status of staff work; review staff progress and answer questions; and proactively report to managers and partners
Responsible for the detailed review of all working papers
Prepare, review and approve all drafts of financial statements prior to review by the manager(s) and/or partners(s)
Develop and maintain ongoing business relationships with different levels of client personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required, Accounting preferred
2-4 years of experience working in a public accounting firm performing audit engagements is required
CPA license with “A” designation
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to concisely articulate and address issues with management and clients
Highly motivated and self-driven for professional growth
A strong commitment to provide excellent client service
Thorough understanding of accounting US GAAP and audit risk areas
Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment, and to train and supervise junior staff
Robust time management and organizational skills, and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
