The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll preparation, processing, and ensuring accuracy in payroll reporting while supporting the organization's mission.

Responsibilities
Payroll Preparation and processing within the payroll accounting transaction cycle
Responsible for garnishments, ACA tracking, and check writing
Ensures that all agency policies and procedures are followed
Document maintenance and monthly account reconciliation
Review bi-weekly payroll report verifying payroll accuracy, including payroll deductions
Assist with completion of month end closing
Assist with review of federal and state tax returns and W2's for accuracy and completeness
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or two years of relevant work experience in processing payroll for organizations exceeding 1,000 employees
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
